Our activities

What we do on the forecourt

Used cars & light motor vehicles

This is the heart of what we do. Every car, crossover and light commercial vehicle that reaches our forecourt is selected by hand, mechanically assessed and prepared before it is ever advertised. We look at bodywork, drivetrain, brakes, tyres, electronics and service documentation, and we write down what we find — including the things a quick glance would miss. If a vehicle does not meet our standard, we do not list it.

Buying should feel calm rather than pressured. We explain the condition report in plain language, let the vehicle speak for itself on the road, and keep the paperwork short and honest. Part exchange, trade purchases and multi-unit fleet deals are all part of the routine.

  • Multi-point mechanical and cosmetic inspection
  • Written condition report with every vehicle
  • Part exchange and trade purchases welcome
  • Finance and warranty introductions on request

Vehicle sourcing & part exchange

If the vehicle you need is not on the forecourt, we look for it. You give us the specification, the budget and how the vehicle will be used, and we search incoming units and trade channels rather than steering you towards whatever happens to be in stock today.

The same desk appraises what you are replacing. Your current vehicle is valued against live market data, and the figure is explained line by line so a part exchange never becomes a way of hiding the real price.

  • Targeted search against your specification
  • Live-market appraisal for part exchange
  • Multi-unit and fleet sourcing
  • Trade purchases and outright buying

Temporary employment agency

We place vetted temporary staff into automotive, logistics and administrative roles. Drivers, valeters, workshop assistants, parts handlers and office support are all part of our bench, and every placement passes identity, right-to-work and reference checks before a shift is confirmed.

Cover can be arranged for a single shift, a seasonal peak or an open-ended assignment. We handle timesheets, compliance records and replacements, so the client only manages the work itself.

  • Drivers, valeters and workshop support
  • Administrative and parts-counter cover
  • Right-to-work and reference checks handled
  • Single shifts through to long assignments

Preparation

What happens before a vehicle is listed

Preparation is where a used vehicle earns its price. Each unit goes onto the lift first: fluids, filters, brakes, suspension, tyres and underbody are checked, fault codes are read, and the drivetrain is tested on the road rather than on the forecourt. Anything that needs attention is either put right or written down.

Only then does the vehicle go through cosmetic preparation, photography and pricing. The result is a listing that matches the car in front of you — same mileage, same history, same faults if there are any.

  • Mechanical assessment on the lift
  • Diagnostics and road test
  • Cosmetic preparation and detailing
  • Documented history and photography

Software publishing and web portals

Our technology work — published software, marketplaces and listing portals — has its own page, so the forecourt and the codebase stay easy to read separately.

Direction

Where we are going, and how we intend to get there

Our mission

To make buying, running and staffing vehicles straightforward. That means honest condition reporting, pricing that can be explained, software that removes busywork, and people who turn up prepared. We would rather lose a sale than describe a vehicle as something it is not.

Our vision

A vehicle trade where the information is as good as the metal. We want the tools we publish, the portals we operate and the standards we hold on our own forecourt to raise what customers expect as normal — clear data, documented condition and no surprises after signing.

Our values

Say what is true, write it down, and stand behind it. Keep the process simple enough to explain in one conversation. Improve something small every week. Treat trade partners, temporary staff and retail customers with the same directness.

Our team

Small groups, clear responsibility

We are organised into small groups that each own a part of the work end to end. Nobody hands a problem over a wall: the people who prepare vehicles also write the condition notes, the people who build the software also answer support, and the people who place temporary staff also brief them before a shift.

It keeps the company honest. Feedback arrives directly, decisions are made close to the work, and the standard we describe on this page is the same one applied in the workshop, in the codebase and on the phone.

Vehicle preparation

The people who assess, prepare and photograph stock. They spend their days with the vehicles rather than the paperwork, and their notes become the condition report the customer reads.

Engineering & product

The group behind our published software and the portals we operate. They ship in small increments, watch how the tools are actually used, and fix the friction they find instead of adding features nobody asked for.

Client & trade desk

First point of contact for buyers, sellers, fleets and licensees. They answer enquiries in plain language, arrange viewings and deliveries, and keep commitments realistic.

Staffing & compliance

The desk that vets, briefs and schedules temporary staff, and keeps identity, right-to-work and timesheet records in order for every placement.

How it works

Four steps from enquiry to keys

The same sequence applies whether you are buying a single car, a handful of light commercials or a software licence. Nothing moves forward until the previous step is documented and agreed in writing.

  1. 01

    Tell us the brief

Budget, mileage expectations, how the vehicle will be used and whether a licence or staffing need sits alongside it. A short conversation removes most of the guesswork.

  2. 02

    Selection and inspection

We shortlist from stock and incoming units, then share the written condition notes, service history and any work already carried out — including the items we chose not to hide.

  3. 03

    Preparation and paperwork

Mechanical work, cleaning and documentation are completed before handover. Pricing is fixed at this point, with nothing added at signing.

  4. 04

    Handover and aftercare

Keys, documents and a walkthrough of what was done. Afterwards you keep a direct line to the same people, not a general queue.

Who we work with

Different buyers, one standard

A first car and a working van carry very different expectations, so we adapt the conversation rather than the standard. Below are the situations we see most often.

  • Private buyers

First cars, family replacements and straightforward upgrades, explained without jargon or pressure.

  • Small businesses and trades

Light commercial vehicles chosen for payload, running cost and the reality of daily use rather than showroom appeal.

  • Fleets and multi-unit buyers

Several units prepared to one specification, documented consistently and delivered on an agreed schedule.

  • Trade and platform partners

Dealers and marketplaces using our portals, listing tools and staffing bench to keep their own operations moving.

Responsibility

Keeping good vehicles in service

The most sustainable vehicle is usually one that already exists. Careful reconditioning extends a working life by years, and that idea shapes how we buy, repair and describe what we sell.

Repair before replace

Components are refurbished where it is safe and sensible, so a sound vehicle stays on the road instead of being written off early.

Honest descriptions

Wear is photographed and written down. A buyer who knows what they are getting keeps the vehicle longer and looks after it better.

Careful sourcing

We pass on units with a history we cannot verify, even when they would sell quickly.

Responsible disposal

Fluids, tyres and parts leave through licensed routes, tracked the same way as everything else we handle.

Efficient logistics

Movements are batched and planned so vehicles are not driven or transported further than they need to be.

Paperless where possible

Our own software keeps inspections, offers and records digital, shared instantly rather than printed and filed.

Questions

Asked often

If something here does not cover your situation, ask us directly — we would rather answer once, clearly, than leave a detail open.

Do you sell to businesses as well as private buyers?

Yes. Private sales, sole traders, small fleets and trade partners are all handled by the same desk, with paperwork adapted to each case.

Can I see the inspection notes before committing?

Always. Condition notes, history and photographs are shared before any deposit, and we walk through them with you.

Do you take part-exchange?

We do. Your current vehicle is appraised against live market data and the offer is explained item by item.

Can you source a vehicle that is not in stock?

Yes — tell us the specification and intended use, and we search incoming units and trade channels rather than pushing what is already on the forecourt.

Do you offer anything besides vehicles and staffing?

Yes — our software publishing and web portal work lives on a dedicated IT services page, kept separate from the forecourt.

How does temporary staffing work?

We place vetted drivers, valeters and workshop staff for short assignments, briefed by us before the shift begins.

About us

Built on the forecourt, run like a tech company

Bright Frame Pal Limited started by buying, preparing and selling used cars and light motor vehicles. To do that well we built our own tools — and those tools became a second business, publishing software and operating web portals for the trade.

Our temporary employment desk grew the same way: we needed reliable drivers, valeters and workshop staff, so we built a vetted bench. Our software and portal work now sits on its own IT services page.

  • Transparent pricing

Every vehicle priced against live market data, no fees hidden at signing.

  • Documented condition

Written inspection report and service history with each vehicle.

  • Trade & fleet friendly

Light commercials, multi-unit deals and staffing in one conversation.
